About East Asia Training and Consultancy (EATC)

EATC was founded by Joy LL Woo, who holds degrees in B.A. (Statistics, Economics), Singapore, M.Soc.Sci. (Economics), Singapore and Ph.D. (Health Economics), Australia. During her capacity with EATC, Dr Woo was the lead managment consultant and Director for Educational Training and Business Development departments. Dr Woo has more than 20 years of professional working experience as an Economist, Head of Research-Economics & Equities, Adjunct Lecturer and Research Fellow in the banking & financial, academia and health sectors.

EATC was born with an objective to bridge the gap between theoritical knowledge acquired in Universities and the application of such knowledge on statistics, econometrics, health economics and modeling required on the job.

Our Training division is the leading and largest provider of training programmes across the region with more than 200 technical and core-skills performance improvement programmes spanning finance and banking, economics, econometrics, biostatistics, statistic, quantitative analysis, healthcare and risk management.  Training programmes are delivered by leading industry experts in a number of formats such as public/customised training courses, workshops and blended solutions.

Our Software division distributes quality third-party software directed to statisticians, econometricians, forecasters, mathematicians, biostatisticians and researchers. We provide software that can perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
